A story goes that an ancient kingdom withheld a godly prince. The people of his kingdom loved him and he loved them in return. Even after his kingdom fell, he was remembered. His story went through many mouths and was muddled into nothing but a short story of his battles and victories. People only remember that he was depicted as a god crafted from the sun. His eyes are made from the finest obsidian. His godhood outshone the other officials in heaven. His kindness is brighter than any other star in heaven. The ancient story of the prince will be told once again today.

Xie Lian, a kind and helping boy who had lived in a small village with his mother and father, who had also quite a few friends as well that has been with him throughout his years. He is a beautiful, loving, and compassionate person, who is always willing to give a helping hand in need, either it is someone who is old, young, or anyone really. He has been the village's most known person, everyone knows him, and is fond of him. However, one day, Xie Lian's father, had went on a journey to find this mysterious castle, and his son requested a beautiful, but nameless flower. There had been tales that a beast would roam and guard this castle, it is quite unknown whether it is true or not.. but this theory was about to be proven once Xie Lian had heard his father wasn't back in the village yet. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST HUALIAN!!

A talk between Mei Nianqing and teenager Xie Lian. Perhaps a tale from the future.

A fan-fiction wherein modern-day teen, Carter Jackson, gets transmigrated into one of his favorite Chinese novels, "Tian Guan Ci Fu" also known as "Heaven Official's Blessing". Well, it wouldn't have been so bad. He would've lived as a normal 'clueless' civilian who had no idea what the future held. The only thing that worried him was.. .. How does it feel to be burned alive, exactly? ~~~~~~~~ Lovely note from author: (Yes, I know. I am the definition of cringe.) I am still a beginner when it comes to Chinese terms and generally, the language as well- so I will be using my small amount of knowledge in this story. If I ever get something wrong, or perhaps a writing error, feel free to correct me, I may end up learning a whole lot of new things in the process. "What are we exchanging," the scholar asked. His curiosity was getting the best of him. What would they exchange? A gift among friends. Maybe a sweet treat. Perhaps, he would be gifted a matching tassel that his highness would also wear. A small sign between the two friends that they truly are close to one another. "I have heard of a new way to exchange...spiritual energy," the prince replied. "It requires two people, and you have to physically touch one another; but you have to do a different kind of...touching per say." The prince had his head laid against the shelves much like the scholar. The only difference was that he was looking down at the shorter man instead of at the ceiling. He still picked at his fingers, his thumb was turning red and drops of blood dripped from it. The scarlet liquid dripped onto the floor soaking the once dusty foundation with crimson.
