Nothing is exactly what there is between Valeria and The Shadow. It's hard to understand, but at first glance, and if you ignore the fact of their intimate encounterings at his house some nights, they don't even talk or know each other, or anything. Until things get complicated, because, when you start to fall in love, nothing becomes everything, and you don't know if you can put your growing obsession aside.

Poetry for the Attys This is a collection of poetry I wrote over the last few months. Each poem is special to me in one way or another... Each tells a story. It was interesting to write in forms and styles I hadn't even known existed till I decided to enter this competition. Good luck to everyone.

A set of poems written over a span of three years. Let these be an intimate whispers to you, and a tribute to your memories made and yet to be made. Words tinted with sadness, love as old and as ancient as us. Come take a glimpse. Let it make you think of your memories or even more, of memories not yet made.

Grieving memories.

When most people seek happiness, others prefer misery. Lucas is one of them, a melancholic young teenager who realized that sadness is not that bad after all.

Living in Cartin, a small city with great wealth and old money to the East of the great kingdom of ANOZIRIA, an upper-middle class self-made CEO of the fast rising Dalton Group of Companies, ran the streets with sweet goodies from his wife's bakery, or dare he say high goodies; keeping both the young and the old of Cartin hooked on his sweets all year round and advertently gaining maximal control on the city. The quest for revenge had made John, an easy going accountant who enjoyed baking so much it led him to the open arms of his beautiful and pure hearted, freshly murdered, wife, a ravaging beast. The hospital room had been painted in her blood, with the words STAY AWAY FROM TLS, their new daughter in her orange cot at the far end of the room, wailing, and the child's grandmother crying and at the edge of almost tangible insanity. They would have to pay, by nook or by crook. Will he get burnt by the flames of his own madness or will his innocent daughter have to suffer for his uncontrollable pain?

To miała być jedna historia. O jednym człowieku, jednej straconej miłości. O bólu, szczęściu, sięganiu dna rozpaczy. Jednak nie wyszło. Bo tego, co chce Wam przekazać, nie da się pomieścić w jednej historii. Bo nie można skazać jednego człowieka na takie cierpienia. Dlatego będzie to zbiór one-shotów. Bez szczęśliwego zakończenia. Bez fajerwerków.

Divided into four chapters, "After the Eventide" is a collection of poetry and prose that navigates through different stages in one's youth, thus growing up in an unsettling and unforgiving place. It circles around relationships, giving too much until nothing is left, longing for an impossible thing, driving through confusion, encompassing between a melancholic and a euphoric moment back and forth, and more. As love comes in myriad forms in different timelines, this book follows how bewitching, yet dreading the many forms of love can be in the lines of poetry and prose.
