Melancholia Stories

Nothing is exactly what there is between Valeria and The Shadow. It's hard to understand, but at first glance, and if you ignore the fact of their intimate encounterings at his house some nights, they don't even talk or know each other, or anything. That's their secret, their secret of "nothing". Until things get complicated, because, when you start to fall in love, nothing becomes everything, and you don't know if you can put your growing obsession aside.

This is the story of a girl who broke free from a trailer-park life - and found love in a dark place - a girl who believed in the country America used to be, the glory and magic of the open road and the joy of being a teenager on the run from the law - with a lust for the impossible. This is her story told through a sucession of poems.
