Why do humans have different skin colours? Why are some people darker, some lighter, and why does such a visible difference exist in the first place? It also asks a deeper question: If our differences are part of the same evolutionary story, why should one human being ever be considered worth more than another? Our skin colours may tell different stories about our ancestors. But they do not determine our worth. Biological variation came first. Human hierarchy came later.
