I had a cat when I was in high school that I became very fond of. Unfortunately, we had to put him down shortly after graduation. His name was Nigel, and this free verse poem is dedicated to him.

Stand alone short stories for people who have adhd but love getting lost between the pages of a good book. This is a collection of stories I've written over the past 6 years in hopes of getting them possibly developed into books and published one day. Tragically, I have little patience or hope of that ever happening. And so, I am leaving this part of myself here in this little corner of the internet as my way of shouting to the world, "yes!! I wrote this as I warmed up my stouffers lasagna in the micro wave and as I watched it cool down so my tongue would not be burned as it had endured enough burning from my english breakfast tea lattes from st*rbucks that I kept forgetting to get iced. Anyway I spent 20 minutes working on this baby I hope you enjoy it, it is a good experience and you will have a spiritual awakening.
