Doctor Marina Chase doesn't do winter anymore. Not after a lifetime of brutal snow blizzards, not after the promise she made to herself. She built herself a life and a career on soft smiles, control, and impressive lightness. A life made out of the warm summer sunshine. She got hired as an attending emergency psychiatrist of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, and was excited to start her new job. She just wasn't told she'd have to deal with emotionally constipated doctors. Among them, the infamous Dr Jack Abbot. Dry. Guarded. Doesn't look away when her sunshine flickers. As the cases and long shifts blur into sleepless nights and professional boundaries being broken, Marina finds herself entangled into a dangerous web: she's getting too attached to her work mates, and worse: Dr. Abbot. It was terrifying, because her new friends were started to see her little snow storms. And it was terrifyingly intimate because Abott didn't want her summer at all. He wants the winter. Written in short, episodic chapters that slowly weave together, "caught up in this web" is a tale about love, trauma, relapse, and the quiet danger of needing someone who might actually stay.

*This is an AU of the characters Frank and Mel from the TV series The Pitt* Mel is trying to adjust to her new life after transferring colleges before her third year of undergrad to be closer to her twin sister, Becca. In a daze of first-day anxiety, she walks out into oncoming traffic, but is saved by a handsome stranger. Running off before she could even get his name, her thoughts seemed to be consumed by visions of his piercing blue eyes. Could this accidental encounter change the projection of her life?

I cannot seem to to contort myself back into the shape of a dutiful child. I am coming unraveled. I am coming undone.

i'll be seeking if you run and hide ! lila camden knew how to tread the line between sweet and strict, as one of the emergency psychiatry residents of "the pitt" she had become accustomed to it. soft with patients, helping them at their lowest, strict with the slightly ridiculous ER doctors, who for whatever reason liked to think they knew more about a mental health crisis then an actual psychiatrist. her third year of residency wasn't supposed to be anything special, just another 365 days of treating the most acute patients that came through ptmc's doors. however, when one of most chaotic shifts of the year brings in a group of new residents and students to the pitt, lila is thrown off her game. dark hair and overflowing confidence, trinity santos is just as much intriguing as she is abrasive, but as the two begin to work together, lila begins to realize that the rude intern might have more of a soft side then she lets on, especially for her. want you to hold and hurt and kiss me !

EVEN after sophia had been told it was impossible for her to become a nurse, she decided to chase her dream anyway. She didn't believe anyone-- especially her family members who didn't try hard enough to chase their dreams. IT was sophias dream to become a nurse at 15, but she grew up in a toxic household where everything seemed impossible. Even breathing. WHERE.. Sophia bridget, a stubborn, sarcastic and serious nurse who takes her job seriously than ever before. Meets Melissa king, a sensitive, awfully happy and sweet nurse who knows how to handle things even when times get hard and tough for her. BUT do opposites really attract? or are they only in romance books and movies? she didn't know what working at her local hospital would bring her. uploads every Wednesday and Saturday.

Studies show that, on average, Paramedics face assault every 46 hours and injury-causing attacks every 9 days, with injury rates four times higher than the national average. It is notewhile, of course, that female EMT's have a disproportionately greater risk of violence-related injuries. When Wendy Devlin elected to become a paramedic, she hadn't done so with the idea in mind to become a statistic. Unfortunately, it is also notewhile that life doesn't always go the way you expect.
