Damon moved from his small childhood town in Florida all the way to NY to escape his past. He couldn't adjust to his new life though as his depression and PTSD would get in the way and could not afford therapy as he already struggled with keeping his apartment. He lost hope within himself and eventually decided to end it all but out of nowhere, a complete stranger stood in the way and chose to help fight his demons. Damon slowly moved past his frustration and feelings of hopelessness and found himself falling hard for the older man.

As the post apocalyptic world unravels, 13-year-old rebellious Clarissa Dixon leaves her once called home with her father and uncle on the scount for a safe asylum to stay until it's no longer dangerous to live in the known civilisation they once knew.
