Dr. Frank Langdon and Dr. Mel King work at the Pittsburg Trauma Medical Center in the ER, also called The Pitt. Langdon is trying to get his personal and work lives back after 10 months of rehab, King is trying to get a start at her life after her parents died, while also looking after her sister Becca. This story is about how their lives will intertwine with each others throughout their day shift at The Pitt.
