This is the hunger games! Except I wrote this entire thing from my own memory (which is absolutely horrible) and with zero reference. Also this is based on the movies and not the books...and there may or may not be mix ups with the starving games...and other movies... May the odds be ever in your favor! (Aka, ur dead lol)

Peeta is a grandchild of Snow, born into the Mellark family, the richest power in Panem's technology-driven economy. He inherits the family business while he tries to reveal the mystery of someone death in his family. This couldn't happen to my parents, who've lived through two Hunger Games, a rebellion, starvation, and so, so many funerals. Nothing could kill them, right? They can't be dead. Katniss had known the blind boy since she was a child. She didn’t know his name; in fact she had never spoken to him in her entire life. Nobody knew how he lost his eyesight. Rumours go around, as rumours do, about possible things that could have happened to cause his blindness. None of them were true. It was quite possible that maybe nobody was meant to know. To Katniss, when she saw the blond child sitting outside the bakery that her mother frequented, with his sunglasses and stick, she had thought nothing of it. High School turned into a different matter.

Beatrix Durham had a hard life living in District 12. Her mother was crippled from a past game she was in. Her father lived and worked in District 3. Which left Beatrix to be the only one supporting her and her mother. She worked in the Mellark's Bakery which helped keep her and her mother stocked with food.
