Mai Penber, younger sister of former FBI agent Raye Penber, has since retired from the force herself. Story takes place after the Kira case, when a new case arises. (y/n) (l/n), one of the smartest girls to live and Near's life long 'friend' and competition, becomes the prime suspect in the boy's newest case. Once travelling back to England, Nate River begins to investigate the new killings and crimes sweeping through England, claiming many lives. The emotionless detective stumbles upon a file of one of the prime suspects, (y/n) (l/n). A mysterious character whose intelligence could challenge his own. Will old feelings of a so called friendship creep up once more? How will investigating his life long friend affect their relationship? Or will new feelings begin to arise? (I have based the characters off the anime as I have not read the manga yet. Also, Matt and Mello are still alive! Yay!) (I don't own any of the original characters from Death Note)

It was a mistake for both Watari and Roger to isolate L from the world, now they wanted his successor to be different. This is my first legit fanfic, as in I haven't written one since early high school when I used a self insert OC in everything so... Anyway, Mello is sent by L to investigate an interesting case at a supposedly haunted children's park. Much to his suprise, Near is sent there, too. They must learn to work together to solve the mystery. And maybe some other stuff too ;)

An American girl Angel Watterson has always felt shy around people. While on vacation in England her and her parents get into a horrible accident taking both of thier lives. Angel is taken in with open arms by Watari. although the trama of the accident she slips into a coma before she's able to meet our beloved L. waiting 2 years for her to wake L visits her every day until she finaly awakens. L feels that she is now his Angel since she opened his eyes to the world. when she does wake up L and Angel become close never leaving eachothers side. until a few days after her 10th birthday L announces he has to leave and wont return for a very long time. Depressed and lonely Angel doesnt give up hope as she counts the days until L's return. but Watari sends information on every investagation that L tries to solve in order to keep her up to date on her friend. after 6 long years her wish comes true when L ask that Angel help with the Kira investagation. aside from the investagation they admit they love each other. but, Angel is worried for L's life. will Angel be able to protect him?

River Nashe is caught both ways. She carries the burden of knowing her ex-boyfriend, Light Yagami is Kira. He had threatened to kill her if she tells anyone. Then again, if she doesn't say anything, she will be in even more trouble. Will she ever reveal her secret to L? Matt and Mattylyn are separated at age 8. Mattylyn at age 14 knocked out her mom and burns the house down, running away with her fat cat Buyo and her wolf dog Keystone. She finds an ad online and signs up for it. After passing the tests and online surveys, she welcomed into a secret society of detectives and police. She goes to Japan to help out with the Kira Investigation. There, she meets Mello and the other members. Being the only girl there a part of the society, she is to partner up and share a room with the smartest and most skilled, Mello. He's disappointed at first, but as the two keep working together they slowly start to fall for each other. Mello falling a bit harder, he confesses first and when sown thing goes wrong and the rest of the team dies. The two loving misfits find a way to get back on track and Matty reunites with an unlikely team member. Matty and Mello get separated a few times, but nothing now can keep them apart. "You jump, I jump right?" "Right."
