Mellophone Stories

Alex Morgan Mathews is starting freshmen year and decides to do marching band because she is a band geek after all. She then finds her self in more then she can handle and tries to continue through highschool. But it is harder then it sounds.

It's the little things in life that can change you; it could be the soft, white snowflakes in December, or the drum of hoofbeats on sand. For me, I never expected it to be the loud 'dut' of the drum major or 'Band, horns up!' from the field commander. But here I am, hooked into this new life, dragged far beyond the point of return.

This is the countinued verison of my previous book "The Diary Of A Sixth Grade French Horn" Good luck, I have a very messed up brain :D This is just everything that happens in band, and outside of band too. Not that you really care Just dive in okay? YOU MIGHT DIE OF LAUGHING Because I like making people laugh okay? Secrets out. Oh and percussion? DONT BE OFFENDED

Chelsea, a junior, moves to a new high school where she meets Logan, a great guy who's in marching band with her. I stink at descriptions; just read the story ;)

When Taylor Larson joins the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps as a baritone player, she is determined to prove herself worthy of marching with the group. On the other hand, Ezrah Evans, a skilled quad player, is willing to sacrifice everything to maintain his top position. The clash of their strong personalities quickly leads to brewing tension. How will this rivalry impact the corps, both on and off the field?

I like to think that the population of America is blind to this fact. Let me show you my logic.

Band. Yep. Very interesting.

"Marching band is a sport," said every band geek ever. But trying to audition for drum corps gets spicier.

A book where each chapter I give my opinion on the week's shows and standings of popular drum corps. These will not be fully in depth but a my observations. (My favorite corps is Carolina Crown and I hate the Blue Devils) My favorites and dislikes will not heavily influence my pick of show of the week which there will be every week. Hopefully I will not repeat throughout the season sorry if I do.

Megan hated the idea of being in marching band. None of her friends were joining, so who was she supposed to hang out with at football games? She wouldn't be able to go to homecoming because of a stupid competition. Even worse, her dad was forcing her to switch from her flute to some weird thing called a mellophone. How will she survive her freshman year of high school if she's stuck in marching band?

Peter Parker and Harper Anderson, two marching band friends who meet at band camp, they share more that they know including... odd dreams. Their lives become a mess of a roller coaster ride over just a few months. I DO NOT OWN MARVEL OR ANY OF THEIR CHARACTERS! If I did, my life would be very different and my dreams would come true.

Band is a wonderful thing, but oh boy the PROBLEMS OF BEING A BAND KID...

Music is the loud voice for quiet hearts

Zoey is a freshman and she's new to the marching band. She's there to follow her family tradition and continue a legacy. At first she's unexcited about being there at all. The only two good things are her new friends, Julia and Noah, and the hot drum major, Ethan. Life seems to be quite troublesome for Zoey. She has a lot going on throughout the whole marching season.
