Three years after Jinx's fatal attack on the Council, the city of Zaun is in worse straits than ever. Struck with a suffocating embargo and with its citizens and merchants terrorized by a brutal new gang lord, the city is desperate for something, anything to change. Viktor woke up in a strange room. As he tried to bring one hand to his head, he realized his arms were tied to the armrests of the chair. He never saw that place. The light was weak and it smelled like smoke and it seemed no one ever opened the window to ventilate the place. One thing was sure: he was still in the Undercity. He remembers walking his way back to Piltover, to reach the lab...

When autumn finally settled in the Piltover air, Viktor was gone. He was alone when it happened, but his passing was as peaceful as it could have been, a deep sleep being the only thing to show him mercy. God forbid he had suffered. - Viktor passed sooner than anyone could have expected, and Jayce had never felt more alone.

Mel Medarda never have been on real "Family supper". This evening, it will change. First meeting of two the most important women of Jayce Talis.

Viktor had mastered the art of goodbyes. He never took too much time, but he also never rushed through the moment. He wasn't indifferent, and always expressed his emotions out loud. Yet, he wasn't too cheesy or cliché with his words and avoided exaggerated displays of affection. For Viktor, goodbyes were about leaving his loved ones with genuine and beautiful smiles. Jayce was the type to miss people really easily. And Intensely. He was the type of friend who would sprint down the corridors, yelling exuberantly when he saw his friends after a summer break. That was one of the first things Viktor learnt about Jayce, when they first met. So the fact that Jayce was not here to greet his friends and brighten everyone's morning was unusual, to say the least. It didn't add up. And Viktor couldn't shake the guilt he felt. "Maybe it is your fault, you idiot." The thought kept running through his head. Or in other words, where Viktor tries to fix the relationship he had broken. Disclaimer: English is not my first language, so it may not be perfect.
