This is an alternate ending written by me, a fan of the show. It's not meant as hate, nor do I have any intention of changing the actual series. I just felt it could have ended differently, taking other paths that tie up some loose ends. There is no intention to deviate from the universe of AI Girl and Love Beyond Dream, both incredible series by the MeMindY studio and written by MAME. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend watching both series to understand the context. The story picks up from episode 6, where AI is shut down by the researcher Win right in front of Gen.

It started when a girl named Chelsea Kim was suddenly pampered by the people Rain thought was close to him. From Rain and Sky having a study bond to Sky having more time for Chelsea From Prapai and Saifah complementing Rain from his achievements to them buying Chelsea her desired items From Por, Sig and Ple teasing Rain to them just straight up Ignoring him And what hurts is that From Phayu loving him to Phayu even forgetting his existence Even his parents Tharn Kirigun and Type Kirigun are friends with Chelsea's parents making some comparisons happening at home. But what if one day... "Khun Irene... why didn't you go to Gen right away when you had the chance?" Well... I finished AI Girl and apparently my coping mechanism was writing an entire Irene POV one-shot. This GL got under my skin so easily that even brought me into writing again after years and years of hiatus. I was Team Irene the whole time but also Team Ai since the beginning, so you can imagine my heart right now. I've had so many thoughts about her after the finale. I still think the Gen/Irene backstory is a little weak, but I also think Irene ended up being much more important to the story than simply being the girl who didn't get Gen. I especially wanted to focus on Ai's gratitude towards Irene, because I think that's what makes this imaginary conversation so meaningful to me. Ai is not simply talking to the woman whose face she shares, she is talking to the person whose choices, indirectly, made her existence possible. Irene became a scientist because of Gen, and that path eventually led to Ai. So, in a strange way, Ai exists because of the same chain of events that also brought Gen into her life. I also wanted to write about the poor Irene spending nine years remembering a moment Gen had completely forgotten, only to discover that she was never really the destination, just one of the roads that led Gen to Ai. Anyway... Irene deserves therapy, a hug, and most importantly, a soulmate with a completely different face this time lolol Thank you for reading and thanks to MeMindY for giving us AI Girl and Love Beyond Dreams, both amazing GLs.
