A story about meeting Stephen King - or his double? - on a plane while reading his novel, The Dark Half, about the narrator and... his double.

You'd think seeing a dog getting the shit knocked out of it on my first evening out as a teenager would give me pause. Nope. It marked what would eventually happen to me, as tried to escape my dysfunctional family, but managed to mess my life up with drugs, females, and alcohol.

People will tell you that when one door closes, another opens. But these things are not necessarily simultaneous. When you shut the door on your past, there's a time when you're in darkness, scrabbling around for the handle to the door to the future. And you've got to decide who's going to walk through that door.

My freshman year may have not been a Happily Ever After, but it was sure pretty damn close. This is the third and final book of the Enemies with Benefits series. And I can promise you that this book is worth the read. If you support #TeamKevin or #TeamDylan you will definitely enjoy the ups & downs of this book. *I'm not sure where Freshman year will go, but I'm in for the ride.*

This is the story of my experience on my year 9 summer camp. This experience can be closely related to hell. All you guys are probably thinking "It can't be THAT bad!" But let me tell you, if the government found out what was going on there, they would shut that place down faster than Paris Hilton's singing career disappeared. A short story about a girl I met in Istanbul.

Dating back in college was a horror for an overweight girl. Guys chose the skinny girls over the fuller-figured ones any day, and getting a date for an event became a nightmare. Never mind that I was on the Dean's List, never mind that I was the editor of my college newspaper or that I was a published poet, never mind that people complimented my taste in clothes or that I always had a smile on my face. Forget that I made sure I was always up-to-date on the news so that I could converse on just about any topic. None of that mattered on date night. The same young men who asked for my help in Composition and Rhetoric or Advanced Statistics didn't know I existed when they were looking for someone to ask out for Friday night. They gave me a casual "Hi" as they passed me by on campus or in town on a weekend evening. They were looking for a hot date and I didn't qualify. To make matters worse, my female friends were all thin girls. One girl in my dorm who was slender and gorgeous had allergies to many different foods, so she had very little choice in what she could eat. I started wishing I had allergies. This poor girl literally couldn't eat, and I envied her.

Life is a sum of choices we make second by second. Depending on what we choose to do, we can rise and shine, or we can fall apart. And yet, enjoying the time, spent during each second, is more important than the moment we reach our final desired destination. While going forward year by year, Pheobe starts to understand that not everything in life can be as she wishes, and nobody can have it all. With this lesson learned, she will accept fate as it is, but continues pursuing her dream ignoring her heart. In the end, she has to take that ultimate decision of choosing between career and love. Well, they are, but they're not in the right picture. She doesn't know exactly what she did to deserve the life she has now, but accepts it as a punishment, believeing she is no longer wanted. Her heart has become barricaded, keeping everyone out of her past, and even the friends she has left don't know her entire story. Travis Benson has no idea who he is anymore. After getting rid of his best friend since diaper days because his parents split up for a while, he has completely changed his image. Trying to get rid of the pain, he becomes one of the school's biggest play boys. He stopped believeing in true love a long time ago, now believeing it's humanely impossible to experience. But, what'll happen during Abigail's junior year of high school? She's just trying to survive with the pieces of her heart left behind and find out what she did wrong. He's just trying to figure out who he is and find out what 'love' really means. What does God have in store for these two unlikely teens?

Funny thing is, I hate poetry. this is a collection of every poem I've ever written...

The Adventure of Byron and Jacobis -- Kendall Daddo and his children invite you to join them as they drive down the highway on a short road trip to spend the afternoon with Grandpa. During the drive, Kendall, as usual, seizes the opportunity to pass the time by telling the children a story. Join them as they break through the confines of minivan space and enter the world of an adventurous boy, named Byron, and an interesting little man, named Jacobis, whom Byron met one day while enjoying the company of one of his dearest friends, Old Oaken, a magnificent mature oak tree that is neatly tucked away at the edge of a clearing in the middle of the woods that grow just a short bike ride outside of Byron's town.

When Alice's family gives up on her, Devlin lets her stay at his apartment.
