When you're young, getting to see all the wild animals you've been reading about in picture books is both safe and exciting. Invigorating even. Not for Rhyason Wade. He doesn't read picture books about any kind of animal, in fact he barely reads for personal pleasure at all. The last book with pictures he remembers reading for himself contained something wild, but risque women were definitely not animals found in a cage.
