With Cas having more emotion, Sam tries his best to get Dean to express his feelings to Cas, who has a crumpled heart already. Someone takes the matter with her own hands when Dean and Cas become victims of the job Sam and Dean forgot to take care of... But, maybe that isn't such a bad thing. It may have been the best thing that happened to Cas in a long time.
