Desiree lives on mars .On mars women are treated as objects and are forced to do what they are told by men. Mars is ran by a government of men , and they created guidelines that women are forced to follow, they need to do what they are told. And to not refuse when are ordered to do something . Men describe women as weak because they have to many feelings and in order to earn there spot in society they have to be tough and act like men . the mayor took away the right for women to be happy . , if they are seen laughing, smiling or chanting by a man they will be killed. And women are also forced by the government to go through this cycle called the birth trial where a women has to give birth to a girl and a boy before the age of 20. If not they will also be killed. A 17 year old girl named Desiree goes through her journey coming close to her turn for the birth trial and realizing that she is tried of always having to follow the guide lines . Join her as she try's to make a diffrence using her voice to earn women's rights back. And that they deserve to be treated equally as the men are . And she fights for her spot in society , What extreme measures will she go through , in order to show that women are way stronger then they are petrayed to be. ? Then she comes to realize why the men do what they do A moving story about what people think it is to be a man and a women this story goes over the stereotypes that people put on men and women. And it shows that men are allowed to have feeing and it's okay for men to be soft the same ways it's okay for women to be tough . Because men are always being told that they have to be tough when that's not true at all it's definitely okay to have feelings . this story goes over the topics of. feminism , sexism , men rights, women rights, finding your voice and breaking the rules in order to be free and feel excepted .and coming to senses with people that it's okay to have feelings .
