James Joana is a young teenage boy, always abused and taken advantage of. It's like he attracts danger, filled with bad luck. A young boy wanders into his school, his eyes black. Black, the signature color of a demons. The demon takes pity on James, allowing him to communicate and see the demon. Hang out with him, get help when needed, things like that. What he doesn't expect is for James to instantly befriend him, wanting to see him all the time. What he doesn't expect is to catch feelings.

Buck, a nervous young boy. He just wanted directions to Yuu Ei high, his new high school since moving to Ohio. He got lost, and he needed help. He didn't expect to almost be trampled by a huge palomino horse with a cute rider on his back. He also didn't expect to be galloping full speed on this horse to said school, his hands wrapped tightly around the rodeo boys waist.

How could Eddie just say he was leaving the 118? Did Buck really mean so little to him that he could just leave without talking to Buck? Buck felt his world stop spinning and come crashing down around him. But one argument leads to the most important confession of Buck's life. Will that confession be enough to make Eddie change his mind or will he take more convincing? It's not always easy for Buck to express how he feels but it's even harder for Eddie to do it. "Buck it's more complex than that," Eddie responded, "I have to think about Christopher." "Christopher is a scared kid Eddie, but this is bigger than him." I replied, "You're not making this decision because of Chris, you're just using that as an excuse."
