Two girls meet in a psychiatric hospital.
Dove is used to the ward. She knows the routines, the silence between meals, the comfort of being somewhere that doesn't ask her to pretend she's fine. She believes she's smarter than most people, knows she doesn't deserve the life she ended up with, and still refuses to give up on herself. Being alone has always been her way to survive.
Billie arrives like a rupture. Loud, volatile, self-destructive, and impossible to ignore. She doesn't want to be there. She fights the walls, the nurses, the rules, and anyone who gets too close. Her mind is fragmented, ruled by anger, flashbacks, and the certainty that no one could ever truly want her.
They don't like each other.
They don't trust each other.
And they definitely don't understand each other.
This is not a love story about being saved.
It's about learning how to survive while standing too close to someone who might ruin you.
