Every time I come home, she's waiting for me. She sits on the same couch, drinks the same cup of coffee, and greets me with the same gentle smile. No matter how much medication I take or how many therapy sessions I attend, she never disappears. The doctors call her a hallucination. But why is she the only one my medication can't erase? As the line between reality and delusion begins to blur, I find myself relying on the one person who may not even exist. She's the only one who listens, the only one who never leaves. Then, one day, she does something she's never done before. She stands up. And suddenly, I'm no longer sure if I'm losing my mind... or if something far worse has been waiting for me all along.
