Every time I come home, she's waiting for me. She sits on the same couch, drinks the same cup of coffee, and greets me with the same gentle smile. No matter how much medication I take or how many therapy sessions I attend, she never disappears. The doctors call her a hallucination. But why is she the only one my medication can't erase?
