She ends up in a psychiatric ward when her teacher finds her in an empty classroom with a bottle of pills. (This is all made up.)

Mia doesn't look for passion in a relationship. She has been burnt too many times by people who were supposed to love and protect her. She doesn't need any unnecessary feelings getting in her way and messing with her mind and heart. If she doesn't care too much, she can't get hurt. Can she? She's sick and tired of people breaking her fragile heart over and over again. All she needs is the feeling of steadiness, control over her own life. While starting a new life at college, away from her hometown, she's looking for someone who will be able to give her that peace she desperately needs. A nice guy who won't set her body on fire every time she looks at him, because she's not willing to burn. She meets Jonathan Owen who seems to be exactly this kind of guy. He's neat, sweet and handsome as hell. But what's the most important is the fact that she doesn't feel the pull toward him. Her heart doesn't skip a beat when she sees him. And that's perfect. That's why he is safe. He's the boyfriend material she's looking for. Unlike Carter Leighton. Their first (and second..) meeting doesn't go so well. He's an asshole to her, yet ,since she first laid her eyes on him, there isn't a single day she wouldn't be thinking about him. About his piercing, hypnotizing eyes. About his lean, ripped body. About how his T-shirt hugs his wide chest perfectly. And how much she wants to rip this T-shirt off of him. He awakens her inmost desires. Her body wants him. He is exactly what Mia is running from. To protect her heart, she has to stay away from him. Or else she will be screwed. But you know what they say. Something may not be what you want, but it's exactly what you need.

Randy is a pretty normal college student. Works hard, goes to parties every once in a while, and all around is a pretty good guy. The only thing that isn't normal about him is his single, father, who raised him. His father, is a semi-crazy lunatic who loves to bake cookies and everything that would be weird for a 40 year old guy to do, leaving little notes for Randy in his books, on his car, and anywhere else where anyone else at Randy's College could see.

I'm tired... I'm sad... Who cares? I know I don't.

This book is about a teen boy named Izuki who transfers to new school and meets a boy named Sora. Sora has a chronic illnesses that is hurting him and will kill him one day. He gets sick very often. He was diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 8.He's also mentally unstable and unwell so he needs more help that others. They start to hang out and go on a dates but one day when the where hanging out something goes terribly wrong and things get out of hand. Read to find out what happens!
