I recently had a life altering experience at an inpatient facility known as UNI I am pleased to share the writing assignments I had to do so I hope you can enjoy this fantabulous book however there is a slight trigger warning because these do have to deal with depression, gender dysporia, and anxiety

My Beautiful Psychosis is a gritty tale of transformation which shows us the most extreme experiences a human mind can endure. The story takes place over a series of seven so-called psychotic episodes: through the harsh landscapes of the psychiatric wards but also a pilgrimage, from troubled twenty-something to a respected documentary filmmaker and campaigner for a new perspective on mental health and wellbeing. It has a powerful message to convey and turns on its head the idea that psychosis is a debilitating illness, caused by a brain chemical imbalance, which requires medication for life. The book questions fundamental beliefs about how the world is. It is an intense, honest and lucid memoir, an exposing and vulnerable adventure through a psyche that is spilling out undigested psychological material to reveal secrets from a past that has been forgotten. Psychosis is portrayed as the psyche's attempt to integrate them and become whole. But the psychiatric system pathologises these experiences, seeking to 'help' by relieving the distress through antipsychotics. Whilst medication is sometimes useful, it doesn't really attend to the deeper need: for validation, compassionate holding, skilful navigation and most of all grounding. I wrote this book to inspire others who have been given a label that has severely restricted their lives, to act as a beacon of light for them to reclaim the power of their own innate healing ability. It is also to educate their family and friends as well as to give mental health professionals a different perspective so that they can better support those in crisis.

WhiteHall. A place some may love to be, others think it is hell itself. A new girl called abigail has recently transferred over and has to find the ins and outs of this new place, will she survive and thrive with new friends or get consumed by the halls of WhiteHall institute. Seomi is broken and she cant be repaired. She fell in love with a man she could never truly have. She was pregnant with his child when he was arrested and sent to prison for 13 years. 3 years later, Seomi lost her mother to the afterlife and not long after lost her daughter to the state. If it wasnt for her best friend, Haesoek, Seomi would be on the streets. Seomi is determined to get her daughter back, using all her time and last bit of money for legal services, not taking any real time for herself to live. So Haesoek put her foot down and signed Seomi up for an online dating site. On her frist date, seomi meets Kian, who is everything she could dream of in a man. He is handsome, charming, sweet, understanding, etc. He loves helping people, and loves helping Seomi even more. Things happen, and people get lost. Who? Ask me no questions, i tell you no lies. Open the book and it shall open your eyes.

I'm not really a great writer so don't expect much. This is still in development. True story of when I was sent to a psychiatric hospital at the age of 13.

Back and forth. Back and forth. I rock as I have my hands covering my ears. Hot tears trail down my face as she continues to taunt me, over and over again. She laughs and dances around the room, her white gown covered in blood. She picks up a soiled sweater on the floor and uses it as a dancing partner humming a slow tune, then she suddenly stops. She slowly turns to me and her grin. "Your next Gracey!" I scream as more tears roll down my face. My grandmother bursts in the room and rushed towards me. "Grace what's wrong?!" Worry evident in her voice. "Make her stop. She won't stop." "Make who stop?" She says gently. "Her!" I point in the direction of her grinning from ear to ear facing around the two bodies. "Grace..." She says softly. "There is no one there."
