Vaness is a sixteen-year-old girl who suffers from anxiety and depression, as well as serious insecurities. You can't really blame her, she hasn't had a joyful life. Vaness is stuck in her own isolated world and has closed her doors to everyone. But when James comes into her life, things begin to change. He pulls her out of her isolating world, opens up her doors and teaches her that there's more to life than what she thought.

I lowered my head, tears threatening to fall from my eyes, 'Why must life be so difficult? Why me?' And with a puff of her cigarette she turned her back to her, staring at they sunrise over the sky scrapers she's known so long. 'The more difficult one's road, the higher their calling.' And as quickly as she appeared, she vanished.
