little maria has grown up completely blind since an accident when she was three, but on her sixteenth birthday her vision comes back, but everything is a blood red color and she keeps hallucinating creatures that follow her and others in the dark, but she seems to be the only one who can see them. And on her eighteenth birthday, her vision disappears just as quickly, but now she knows what lurks in the dark, an they know she is aware. Maria starts getting mysterious marks on her body that dont go away an create strange patterns.
