Charley is an ordinary boy. Actully, he's not so ordinary. He's the son of a brutal ex-soldier, an older brother of an adorable little girl, a mommy's boy, an introvert, and... a survivor!!! Exciting, right? Not for him. A sexual assualt survivor, an domestic abuse suvivor, etc., etc.. But, see, something happened. Something supernatural. To Nessa, to Kyle, to Ari... everyone he loves. Everyone in their little town of Rosemont. Someone, something, comes out at night. Nightstalkers. They chase, hunt, and scare anything that comes in contact with him. And Charley, who wants nothing more than to protect his family, has some pretty close calls with these nightstalkers. And now they're seperated! Isn't Charley's life so great? Now, he wants nothing more than to be with Ness, Ari, and Kyle, but then he meets August! August isn't the type of guy you want to be involved with. He's 24, a smoker, a player, a drunkard, an asshole, and he's notorious for stealing girls' boyfriends. And Auggie hasn't gotten much action since this shit started, right? ...Right. Then, Auggie stumbles upon a wounded Charley. What's his first thought?
"Help him!"
No.
"He's bleeding a lot,"
Nope.
"He needs food!"
Not even close.
"He's pretty hot..."
Pretty much.
Now Charley has to survive the nightstalkers, survive August, find his family, and keep them safe. Pretty easy feat for a 16-17 year old...right? WRONG!
