She just appeared one day without any explanation from Cobs. Determined to figure out the story behind Cobs' new employees, MePhone takes it upon himself to investigate and discovers a disturbing truth. Will he be able to escape and rescue his friends from Meeple under the watchful eye of Cobs? Who's to say... This fanfiction is still ongoing and the AU doesn't have a name yet. Taco is always hungry, always bereft, always wanting, and never satisfied. Until she finally is.

(TW: Blood, gore, drugs, murder, violence, swearing, cannibalism ect) (Huge Inanimate Insanity Season 2 spoilers, especially Ep17) Deep in Meeple Headquarters is a lab, hidden from the outside world. The objects inside have never seen the outside world, and are tested on. They are killed and recovered, day after day, and they do not know why they are forced to endure this. But truth lies in someone they have always known. There is a way out. (This is an Inanimate Insanity Season 2 AU) (Also the characters have animalistic traits such as fur, tails, paws, claws, ect. If you don't like that then don't read this I guess.)

Taco can't sleep. The day had been exhausting, between sneaking into the hotel, seeing everyone again (or rather, letting them see her), dying and coming back to life for the last time, watching a conceited CEO explode. Losing Mepad. But despite the torpidity that fills her body, her mind won't let her rest. It scrambles through thought after thought, regret after regret, possibility after possibility. Could she have gotten Pickle's forgiveness, if only she'd given a better apology? How had she never realized she had no life outside of the game? Was there a way they could have saved everyone? Could Mepad have remained with them? What had Cobs done to him? She pulls her arms out and stares up at the moon. She needs to get away. She needs to get up and do something that isn't stewing about the day's events. There's no way for her to go back in time to redo her discussion with Pickle, shake herself out of her stupidity, or shoot that conniving corn cob before he has a chance to build that miserable 'Me' machine. At the very least, not unless Test Tube were to decide to make yet another time machine. But Taco can at least answer one of her questions.
