Just two best buds, traveling together, nothing is going on between them....at all. Is there something going on between them or is it just the brotherly love of two chummy buddies? A magical incident ends up gifting Arthur with magic, who now feels more alone than ever. Merlin knows him too well to believe his simple lie that he's sick and so stuck in his chambers, however. But when Arthur openly defends magic in front of his father...things begin to crumble, except he doesn't know why.

Merlin and Arthur are their usual sarcastic selves, and with a little help from Gwaine and Leon, learn about feelings for each other that they didn't know they had.
