I want to make several assumptions or changes before I begin this story: *One is that Uther Pendragon was once friends with Balinor, the Dragonlord. *Another is that Hunith is Gaius's younger sister and that she too once worked in the castle, but as a servant. *A third is that Uther was actually rather found of magic before Igraine's death and the Purge. *The death taken in exchange for another does not have to be instantaneous if the circumstances call for it. In this story Igraine doesn't die. Instead another's life is taken. Merlin's magic is common knowledge and Uther is actually quite fond of him, perhaps a bit overprotective due to circumstances that you will come to learn. I, of course, own nothing of the characters or setting. That belongs to BBC who really should continue the series. The prologue of this story is going to be very brief set up for the series, which will take place when the boys are older. So don't mind it too much if its quick and bit messy. It's only meant to be a background.

{Modern day Merlin AU, Merthur} The dragon promised Arthur's return, but Merlin never expected it to be like this. After spending 2000 years holding onto that promise, the very least Merlin could have hoped for was a glimpse of his King on the streets- what he got , however, was so much more. He has a chance to do it all again in a modern world where his love is no longer illegal, and where he and Arthur are not seperated by class or status. However, nothing has ever been so simple for him: not only has Arthur returned, but so have Morgana, Uther and the knights of the Round Table, not to mention a few enemies who would have been better dead and the fact that none of them know who they once were or who Merlin is. Faced with the dangers of repeating his mistakes, Merlin embarks on a journey to find peace and fulfill the destiny he had assumed complete.

This story is a rewrite of Season Five (final season) of Merlin (TV Show) where Merlin finally gets the love interest he deserves. And is told from another point of view. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters of this show except for my own original character.

Cedric never stood a chance against Merlin and Arthur. Not when they are literally two sides of the same coin, bound by destiny, and especially not when they're secretly dating and trust each other with everything. Or-Cedric doesn't notice Merlin in Arthur's bed when he goes to steal Arthur's keys in the middle of the night, and that's his undoing. So no. He never stood a chance. Set in the episode 2x01 The Curse of Cornelius Sigan.

It's a stormy night in Camelot and Merlin just had an argument with Gaius. He hides in Arthur's chambers to finish reading his book in peace. Of course, the prince wakes up and is not very happy to find Merlin there.

It's Arthur's first Christmas after coming back from Avalon, and he's finally found the best gift for Merlin. The gift is so perfect that it might just make Merlin cry. (Or: Arthur finds photos of Château de Pierrefonds online, prints one and gives it to Merlin, who's already forgotten what Camelot used to look like because of his long life.)

It's barely been a week since Merlin became Arthur's manservant, and he'd already managed to get himself kidnapped. Who is this "Emrys" that his kidnappers keep talking about? And will anyone come to rescue him? Set shortly after 1x01 The Dragon's Call.

"He's in love!" The words hit him like a rock. What? "What?" "With Gwen!" Arthur continued, spreading the lie and yet somehow saving Merlin's life in the process. All Merlin wants is to save Gwen's life, yet somehow he gets Arthur to have a conversation with him about feelings instead. Because Merlin isn't in love. Or is he? Set in 1x03 The Mark of Nimueh.

Merlin and Arthur are their usual sarcastic selves, and with a little help from Gwaine and Leon, learn about feelings for each other that they didn't know they had. But will they realize what they have before it's too late? *Disclaimer* If you don't like Merlin leave now. Also I don't own any of the characters or the book cover.

"Fetch the mattress from my quarters and bring it up here," Arthur commanded. Merlin doubted that that was even possible. "How am I supposed to carry a mattress on my own?" "I don't know, strap it to your back." But what was he supposed to do when Arthur gave the order? This is a fic about how Merlin actually did manage to carry the mattress all the way from Arthur's chambers to Gwen's house on his own, although at a great cost. (He was exhausted afterwards.) Although, maybe when he's so tired, Arthur will allow him to stay at Gwen's and share the mattress? (It was rather enormous for just one person, wasn't it?) Set in the episode 2x02 The Once and Future Queen.

Arthur wakes up in the middle of the night because of Merlin's loud snoring. But wait, what the hell is Merlin doing in Arthur's chambers at night? Sleeping in a chair with a dagger in his hand?

When Merlin finds out about his mother's death, he and Arthur set out to Merlin's village. (It's gonna be better than it sounds, I promise.) please let me know if you want more :)

After getting enchanted by the fairy princess, prince Merlin wondered around the rivers and met Alora- a commoner, an archer and farmer.

Random little scenes(or sometimes full on 15,000 word oneshots) I constantly think about. Not all are romantic and most are very far fetched from canon, but I take requests so if you've imagined something Merlin related, I'd be more than happy to make it come to life to the best of my ability. ^v^☆ Don't know if I'll be making some Merthurs, but if it's a request, I'd be happy to write one. Also, I'm not familiar with 2nd Person P.O.V. / xReader, so I'm sort of using this as a kind of practice as I'm still exploring what kind of writing I can do, what I want to do. Just saying so you guys can take it into consideration and maybe leave some tips(?). Either way, I hope you enjoy! ☆_^ P.S.: I realized that most of these aren't even romantic, so if anyone has some really fluffy ideas, I'd like to know because I enjoy plot changes so much, I forgot to add some romantic ones, so there's very little of them.
