It has been a hard year for Marinette. When a deadly sickness sweeps through the kingdom of Miraculoux, Marinette's parents aren't the only one's to have gotten infected and they are one of the many who die from it. Death seems to be constant in her life. After all, her best friend, Prince Adrien, went missing a few years back, never to be heard from again. Not to mention the kings wavering health continues to decline as he becomes colder, crueler. Something evil is at work and Marinette is at a loss to stop it. However rumors of a vigilante by the name of Chat Noir, seems to have the king on edge, and Marinette starts to wonder if his latest pursuits have anything to do with a legend of unformidable power. As things get worse for the kingdom Marinette secretly starts to take things into her own hands with the help of Chat Noir, but the king is getting suspicious and Marinette wonders how long they can last before everything blows up in her face.
