After freya's dead Merlin doesn't know what to do without his love. He feels torn, no..broken. Arthur being Arthur makes Merlin feel worse with his "jokes". Merlin feels it better to leave with freya. In the end what will he choose?

It had been a few thousand years since Merlin's best friend died in his arms. He felt hopeless, like his life had ended that day too. "This is not the end of Arthur," spoke Kilgharrah "For he is Albion's true king and will rise again". "Then I will wait," declared Merlin, and that he did. It's now 2021 and A LOT has changed since then. Merlin has well and truly grown into his "great dragoon" body, having lived near Arthur's grave for centuries. He had started getting comfortable in his life when all of a sudden his wait was over. Arthur had been reborn like a phoenix, which sounds great accept for the fact that everything he ever knew has changed. Merlin rescues him from being arrested and the two of them embark on the road trip of a lifetime. Along the way they try to find out why Arthur was brought back and just catching up on what he's missed.

Takes place 4 years after the last episode except arthur didn't die because he was healed in time back at Camelot and Merlin didn't kill Morgana,Morgana ended up getting away just in time. When Merlin is on a journey looking for herbs for Gaius,He unexpectedly gets caught by a sorcerer,He's tortured for months,until an unexpected prisoner is put in a cell with him.Will he fall in love with the prisoner who was once his friend,Who once tried to kill him? Arthur hadn't seen Merlin's real smile in weeks. Maybe even months? Merlin had lost count of how long he had been faking smiles and how, now, the king must surely know that Merlin isn't himself. Right? His hair is so pretty in this light... Thought Merlin, as he slowed his movements on the weapon and instead focused on Arthur. The sun was going down, so the orange light came in perfectly from the window behind the king and created some sort of halo around his head. Not just his hair. His cheekbones, his jaw... and his eyes. How are they so blue?

Arthur was going on a hunting trip with his knights to get away from his father, but he didn't expect to find a Dragonlord! Arthur and his knights then discover a secret civilization of magic, hidden away from Camelot. Better yet, Arthur is mentioned in a prophecy that includes the Dragonlord Merlin and the world of Albion. Will Arthur accept magic and unite Albion, or will his hatred for magic that has been groomed by his father be too much for him? To make matters more difficult for Arthur he thinks he might have some complicated feelings for the Dragonlord Merlin. Many years ago the Prince Merlin (Emrys)Balinorson had to flee his home kingdom of Thornwald when Cynewulf Merlin's cousin attacked he doesn't know what happened to his brother or all but one of his friends. He is split between two destinies one to lead Thornwald and the other to protect Arthur. I don't own Merlin
