Merlinxmordred Stories

Merlin has been around for the last 1500 years and is eaten by guilt. 1500 of self-reflexion, of what he could have done, what he shouldn't have done, reflection on the people he saw dying. In the modern world, he try to blend as much as possible, pretending to be a student and waiting for his king to come back. But when that day comes, Arthur is not the only one to come back and Merlin doesn't know how to deal with all the pain he feels. All Merlin wants is to keep Arthur and Camelot safe. All Mordred wants is to be accepted, to belong. Merlin fears what Mordred may become, but the Druid boy is determined to prove his loyalty - and his love. As the fate of Camelot hangs in the balance, both men must choose their path. Can Mordred forget his past? Can Merlin learn to follow his heart? Long before the ban was passed in Camelot or the prince of the prophesy was born. The tails were told. Of the once and future king and the warlock that would stay by his side. The warlock born with golden eyes and black wings. Merlin never knew a life of freedom. Locked in his house as a child and later captured by Sarrum. When Merlin came to Camelot, it was his last chance to escape. But he got a little more than he bargained for. And now, when Sarrum comes back and recognises his old captor, what will Arthur do?
