Once every mermaid turn 18 they must undergo the Mermaid Trials. These trial consist of growing legs and going on land. The mermaids must meet the prince and have him fall for her but not the other way around.

As she desperately searches the ocean for something to quench her thirst and hunger, she stumbles upon a mystic island of which is inhabited by humans. Unfortunately for her, she does not realize the dangers of its ruler. Attempting to lure her prey with a song, she manages to attract the infamous Peter Pan. Too late to realize she had made a mistake, the boy captures Sirena, forcing her to live on land with a sufferable life. And each day living on Neverland, she wonders how or why one would have such a devious and cruel mind. How could one be so stone-hearted? Sirena is determined to find out.
