Lance has grown up in the ocean his whole life. It's against the rules to go near the surface, especially with humans in sight. Lance is not one for following rules, especially when it means the chance for a pretty lady. On one attempt he went up to a boat, not ever expecting to leave behind everything he knows. Keith lives in the forest, by a lake with the man he grew up with. The closest thing to his family, Shiro. They have loved going every other week to a close aquarium. It's kind of become their thing. But this time there is something there that changes his life forever. I do not own the characters or drawings/pictures/songs I only own the storyline

Mermaid lance au. Keith hates life. Hates the bullies he deals with. Hates being an orphan. Hates being the social out cast. He's fine on his own...always has been. But he wasn't. It hurt being lonely...then he met Adam and shiro...his life got a little brighter. No more shunting from foster home to foster home. And one fateful day...on the beach. He meets the possible love of his life...who u know...just happens to be a mermaid..? Lance is an adventurous young mermaid prince. Unsure as to why his kingdom hate humans he breaks multiple rules as he ventures near the shore , befriends humans...and falls head over heels...or tails? For one certain raven haired human.

Sure, in all movies, the moon affects people, bringing on changes that most people never even dream of, and for Lance, that's true, being a mystical being in the moonlight has its perks, but is being alone something he has to just get used to? But what if that wasn't the case for someone else? Keith Kogane has a secret that he can't tell anyone, fight or flight is the way of the boy on the run, avoiding making attention to himself, but what if he wasn't as alone as he thought he was? What if he could learn to accept people and will he like where that will get him? As these two boys discover each other's worlds darkness lurks just beneath the surface, and if they're not careful, all Hell could break loose because of it.

*art not mine* Lance has a secret a rather fishy one, he is forced to hide from his team mates and friends as it could bring danger to him and his family but what if it gets out, what will happen?

"Aw come on Keith, it'll be fun!" Hunk whined. "Plus, our project will be done in less than two weeks. And it's not even due for another then five weeks! Come on Keith, it's literally just going to an aquarium to do our project!" Pidge argued. "...fine. But only cause I want to get this over with." That one little trip would change Keith's life forever. ((AU where instead of going to the Garrison to study space exploration, everyone went to a school on the coast of Florida (Miami) to study marine biology.))

This story has slowish updates right now thanks to an invasion of my privacy. Still, it's the furthest I've ever written a book and I'm really proud of it. No one will ever read this and I probably won't be able to write any more for a couple of years but argh. It just makes me so angry.

Klance Marine biologist/Mermaid au Keith has been working as a marine biologist for quite some time. But his new colleague Lance got his attention. Rather because the guy has been acting really, like really, odd. Keith dedicates his time to finding out Lance's secret. Lance however is doing everything in his power to stop Keith from finding out.

Lance has a special power but he calls it a special connection to the ocean. He can control waves and how strong a current is. Lance uses this power to take down Pirate ships and kill all on broad the ship. Lance will kill one with a dagger he always has on hand then leave the rest for the sharks. Lance does this for his people's protection. Keith Kogane is an Avian that lives among the clouds with his brother Shiro. The two are fighter for all living creatures. They fight for people, pirates, animals, hybrids, and even the Merfolk they don't know about. Keith is the second best fighter in his tribe his brother being the first. Keith also happens to have a special power witch he calls a connection to the sky. He can control the winds with this ability and he only uses it for good and the protection of other. Keith would do anything if it meant the protection of the ones he cares for. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay I just want to say the art in this story does not belong to be and I'm not sure who it belongs to, I just find them on Google.
