Vince was a normal guy who was obsessed with the ocean. So when he heard that a company that only went by 'Corporate' came up with a project that could turn normal humans into mermaids he immediately applied to be a subject. When he found out that the serum worked whenever he went underwater he was amazed. But when he found out that he would feel unimaginable pain whenever he transformed without a special monitor he was less ecstatic. But what will Vince find when he goes diving one day.

It is forbidden to stay at Spirit Lake after sundown for a very specific reason: that is the time that the vale in-between worlds open.
