This is a story about a merman who hated his own destiny, and the journey of a human girl who is looking for her true identity. The line of destiny has brought them together. But their love story is not as easy as they imagine. Two different worlds lead to conflict. Can they survive?

Bo Sinclair is a fisherman to support his family. Merpeople are known but not well liked, however Bo doesn't pay attention to that mush. Until he risks his life to safe a mermaid. Then things get complicated for him, her and their families.

Kean lived peacefully, knowing he'd be one of the mermen who never had to travel to the deadly surface of the ocean. However, once human conflict reaches the depths of the ocean, leaving his village destroyed and everyone he loves gone, he must travel to heights he's never reached before to help a small resistance team on the surface prevent merpeople and the entire sea from becoming collateral damage at the hands of human greed. Forced to mix with humans in order to create change, he ends up making connections he never expected, while learning things about the sea even he never knew about before. That's when he meets our other main-character, an enchanting, shouldn't-exist-but-still-does creature, a Siren. I knew I would have to come back up for air not having the luxury to breath underwater like him. But I didn't want to. I wished I could stay under and admire the merman who stole my heart. He tilted his head to the side before swimming closer to me wrapping a scaley arm around my waist and pulling me up, swimming quickly to surface. He brought me up and I took a deep breath of air. I looked back to Harry and he shook his head a soft smile gracing his features. "don't do that Lou. you are a human, you need air." I felt the need to disagree and say 'I need you' but aside from being true it was corny, and he was right. you can't be in love if you're dead. instead I nodded letting Harry guide me to shore. I sat on the warm sand and watched Harry swim back to sea. the green eyed boy turned back towards me, only thing visible to me was his head. Harry looked at me for a while his bottom lip pulled between his lips and eye lashes fluttering against his pale skin. We stayed like that. Looking at each other for a while before Harry looked away, with a bashful smile and a blush. He waved his webbed hand before turning and swimming away with a swish of his tail, neither of us seeing the ship of predators off in the distance following the merman with hungry eyes.
