What do you do when it's nearly Christmas and you are lonely and miserable? Easy, you do a home exchange with someone who lives on the other side of the country! But what if leaving everything that's familiar behind isn't enough? Maybe what Amelia really needs is someone who will guide her as she deals with her demons and someone else who will show her that love doesn't necessarily feel like falling... Sometimes it can also feel like a slow, soft sleigh slide. As for Nick, sliding or falling, he just needs to let himself love. He's always believed that love is not for him and never looked for anything more than a casual one-night stand, but we all know how these things work: when you least expect it, the right person shows up drunkenly knocking at your door in the middle of the night... A Mernick + Kaimelia remake of the romcom movie The Holiday. It takes place somewhere between season 17 and season 18. The only slight plot divergence is that Meredith and Nick have never met before and of course things are going to develop a little differently from this point on.

[Continuation from Episode 18x06] Meredith being happy and maybe a little confused about her feelings... Just short little chapters with no real storyline, because I just wanted to write a little :) The story is in English, but I also added the 'portuguese version'... This was my little portuguese experiment... I don't have that much time right now, so I tried to combine two things I didn't want to give up completely. Writing and learning Portuguese. Also I love to challenge myself, and I will apologize in advance for all the mistakes, I have never written anything in Portuguese before... :)

Mernick story - AU 19x20 Meredith has been working in Boston for a few weeks now and as Richard convinces Nick to go to Boston to check on Meredith he finds her in a very bad condition. Will he be able to save her? And will they trust each other again and find back to each other? Characters belong to Shonda Rhimes

This story takes place about a month after the finale of Season 18. The day Nick left her something traumatic happened to Meredith and he only finds out a long time afterwards. Hope you like the story =)

Meredith slept with Nathan accidentally when she was drunk but Nick never believed her,Alex did.Nathan got her pregnant by accident but Nick called her name instead of letting her explain what 'really' happened the night before Nick found her naked in Nathan's room.
