The third and final story in The Secret of Moonacre Trilogy.] It's been two years since Maria destroyed the dark pearl. The valley has been peaceful and happy since. Everyone has been growing as individuals and as a family. But suddenly a long forgotten enemy rises and Moonacre is thrown into turmoil. War is declared, family is divided and love and trust are tested. The return of this foe has been changing things badly. And Robin just so happens to be one of them. What happens when Maria can't even recognize the man she loves? Who will help her save the valley once more? And just what does this dark individual want with her? On top of it all Maria realizes she has more powers than she knew and they are beginning to wield out of control. How will she learn to control them when she is the only one who possesses them? And someone near to Maria has a closely guarded secret that could change everything. Will they admit it and risk being shunned or cast out? Or will they hide it forever and watch the valley be destroyed? (Better than description I promise. XD)

The story starts where the movie ended. Maria and Robin are growing in their friendship. Maria discovers her responsibilities as the moon princess will be challenging, while Robin has to prepare to be the future leader of the De Noir clan; with each passing day, his responsibilities are growing. Even though Maria returned the pearls to the sea, it seemed as if something was missing. Something also seems off about the forest, it looks okay from afar, but the closer you come to it, the more you realize that something feels unnatural. I do not own any of the characters in the book or movie. (Some of the characters are mine, some obviously aren't) ROBINxMARIA SUPER CUTE FANFIC (it starts off a lil shaky because I was like 12 when I started but I'm hoping the second half is a bit better) It all starts to look good for Robin and Maria, but something ends up coming between them, what will they do???????

"You have to promise. Say you'll promise!" "Okay...I'm listening." "No! You have to say the words I promise." "I promise.." Maria Merryweather goes to stay with her uncle until her father gets back from his extended business trip. Maria and her Nanny Ms. Heliotrope travel to Moonacre Valley, where she meets this arrogant individual Robin De Noir. Unfortunately, neither of the teens can deny their growing attraction towards each other. Maria comes to find their is a feud between the families, that prevent her and Robin to be together. So hating each other should have suffised. But when their English teacher Miss. Loveday pairs them to analyze Romeo and Juliet they start to uncover exactly how strong their attraction is for each other-and soon, they'll no longer be able to deny it.

Maria was brave enough to save the valley, but will she be brave enough to admit her feelings to Robin de Noir? Will something else happen that makes her question if she should tell him? Find out in my story. ------------------ Yes, I realize my description is really lame, but it's actually a good story. If you want to fully understand it, watch the movie The Secret of Moonacre first.

BOOK 1 Rose Merryweather, the elder sister of Maria Merryweather goes to Moonacre Mannor after her father dies, everything seems odd and nothing makes sense. The mysterious De Noir Clan, the piano which plays music by its self, and who leaves the dresses up in her room? (I've edited the story to fit what I'd like to happen)

All seemed well after Maria saved Moonacre Valley. She's been gone for three years to finish her schooling and finally she's returned home. But the very first night she is there, terrible nightmares assault her and something feels off. Darkness has been taking over Moonacre Valley and it is up to Maria and Robin to discover what is threatening them and stop it before everything is lost. And what about Robin? He's certainly been acting strange lately. Why is he seeming so gentle towards her when he so rough and wild for the rest of the world? (Better than description I promise)

Often times when I'm alone, my mind conjures up the image of the pale white moon. It's large, so large that it looks as if it could swallow dear little Moonacre in all of it's entirety. And then I feel the crushing weight of water, swirling around me. My hands frantically try to swipe the pearls off the bodice of my dress as the cold waves push me down further. My lungs cry out for air but I still plummet to the bottom of the dark ocean. When I'm finally forced to gulp down the salty liquid, I'm at peace- serene. And everything fades to black... ------------------------------------ Maria and Robin seem to be in an endless dance; one day they take a step forward, the next they take a step back. With pressure and tension mounting, will they end up together, or will someone end up with a broken heart?
