Merlin discovers just how much Arthur is willing to sacrifice for him, and Arthur struggles with the ever pressing responsibility of being heir to the throne of Camelot, as well as his fathers constant pressure to make him proud.

Merlin casts the the most powerful spell in the history of magic to save Arthur. It leaves him in a slump suffering the side-effects. Merlin is plagued with nightmares, hallucinations, and more. Will they be able to help their friend Merlin? Or will Merlin hide the extent of his pain and drown as a result? This story is specifically for fans of the Merlin TV show. We pick up right at the last episode of the show however I made a few changes...This work is my own with the addition of a completely new story line that just continues that heart-felt and silly world from the show that we all love. This story is about love and the struggles that we must overcome in the name of it. A lot of Merthur, but I keep it pretty pg-13 so don't expect a lot of smut. I DON'T OWN ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS or pictures I found them on google so if you know the artists plz comment! This story does spoil the ending of the show so if you haven't seen it go watch it and the come back! Hope you enjoy!!

They're still alive. Prince Otho bowed, as everyone else had. The knights bowed, as everyone else had. They took their place beside Cenred's men. Everyone was staring. And an openly gay Merlin and slightly confused Arthur I was told my chapters were a tad bit too long, so I try to keep them all within 700-1200 words I will publish in parts. This is a Merthur (MerlinxArthur) fanfiction based off of the BBC show 'Merlin'. I do not own the characters. Also, this may not be totally accurate. Cover is not mine.

As Uther calls Arthur to speak with him privately, Arthur isn't sure what predicament had occurred between him and his father. Until he gets handed a crinkled letter. The kingdom of Aeyland had just collapsed at the hands of Morgana. The letter explains that several knights are on a quest to find their King and Queen. As Arthur embarks on this journey with several knights from both his kingdom and the fallen, Arthur realizes something extraordinary. The kingdom has a lost prince. And he's hiding somewhere closer than Arthur suspects. [Completed] (I don't own BBC Merlin)

After a brutal attack leaves Merlin dying. Arthur is desperate to save his man servant. He seeks the help of magic and is willing to pay whatever price. However it's not what Arthur expects. This leads to the Prince and manservant to start their true destiny to unite Albion and bring magic back to their kingdom. That's if they can survive.

Merlin had been coping with all the hurtful words that Arthur said to him. But what if once Arthur went too far, or Merlin broke? Which one would come first? Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince.
