Starting at the beginning of Season 4, Lancelot and Merlin manage to close the rift without a sacrifice. With Arthur curious about magic, Merlin finds himself revealing his talents to the most trusted of the knights and to the prince. Together they decide that they will bring magic back to Camelot when Arthur becomes king. Also, a funny Merlin meme in every chapter. For no reason, just cause I liked them. And I don't own Merlin, obviously. Just the story.

A story about the challenges that Merlin has to go through being Emrys. Keeping his identity a secret from his friends is harder than ever, especially since Morgana threatens those he loves in order to get to him.

Merlin AU Due to Nimueh using sorcery during Arthur's birth, Arthur was given the gift of magic. He has never told anyone. As Arthur and Merlin become closer, Arthur tries harder then ever to ensure his secret is never revealed. What will happen when Merlin finds out? Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.

Prince Myrrdin was placed under a curse by an evil sorceress named Morgouse. The curse would have Myrrdin go to sleep when he turned 18. To protect him, the King and Queen of Ealdor sent him to Camelot to go live with the Court Physician, Gaius to protect him and to keep the fact that he is Prince Myrrdin secret by calling him Merlin.

In an AU LGBTQ+ accepting Camelot, anybody can love anybody. King Arthur throws a Ball to try and find a romantic companion among his kingdom to make his Queen or King Consort. His manservant Merlin is overrun with chores, but finds a way to attend, though he's too embarrassed to go as himself. In disguise he sets a fire in Arthur's heart, who must discover the identity of the mysterious masked man. (I do not own the characters or the photo used for the cover)

It was a pitch black night in Camelot, nobody outside their homes besides the knights patrolling the kingdoms grounds. Everything is seemingly normal until Arthurs eyes lock onto a hooded figure. "Hey you!" Arthur called out, his voice echoing through the silent streets. "You do realise Camelot has a strict curfew, nobody should be outside after dark!" The cloaked figure let out a breathy chuckle. "Wow a curfew, who would have guessed with all these people around?" They responded sarcastically. The prince was taken aback. Who would dare disrespect him?

Uther would always set up Arthur with princesses but every single time, Arthur would make up excuses to why he doesn't want to be with them. Uther then decides that he will set him up with a prince to see if he will still make excuses. Arthur was still mad when his father told him this but when he met the prince, Merlin, he said that he will give it a go. Merlin also didn't know how he felt about this considering that Camelot didn't accept magic in their kingdom. Uther was desperate to get Arthur either a prince or princess to rule with him when he dies. So, he lifts the ban on magic since he knows that Merlin isn't evil and that his kingdom is extremely strong. What will happen when they are forced to spend most of their time together and actually bond?

"Take heart, for when Albion's need is greatest...Arthur will rise again." After the Battle of Camlann, Merlin sends off Arthur's body to the Lake of Avalon and as the Great Dragon, Kilgarrah had once told young Emrys, Arthur will rise when Albion's need is greatest, for Arthur is the once and future king. After hundreds of years of waiting for Arthur to return, something very interesting happens. Merlin discovers he is a thing that people call, "bisexual". After learning of all the shootings that happen, he couldn't believe that one would murder another because of who they were attracted to, so he began to attend pride parades in order to stop any shootings with his magic. Until one day he a boy on the opposite side of a fence catches his eye as he's marching, a male looking of about 25 with blond hair and blue eyes. Merlin doesn't understand why but as he's walking, every part of him is willing him to turn around and confront the man. He can only think of one explanation, Arthur.

Before you continue... This is a comfort book. Meaning that these stories are for my comfort with my comfort characters. Why? Because we all have our ways to comfort and soothe ourselves. This is a way that I'm trying out. That being said, nonexistent reader, don't expect perfection when I'm simply finding my way to cope. If anyone happens to stumble upon this and is interested, take a look. I don't expect this to go anywhere, hell, I'm still wondering if I should even actually post it. But if this might help someone else with the same comfort characters as me, then it's worth it.
