So Arthur loves Marlene, but Marlene is Merlin, but Merlin doesn't know that. How did this come to be? Simple, Arthur chickened out and lied. Now Merlin thinks that Arthur's in love and spends time with her when Arthur's in love with him and is instead finding their reincarnated friends and family that actually remember. Isn't this an adventure.

This is my first story since like 2 years ago... Its Merlin not Solangelo... But I think people should get a kick out of it. *** At some point there will be a smut scene... In an AU LGBTQ+ accepting Camelot, anybody can love anybody. King Arthur throws a Ball to try and find a romantic companion among his kingdom to make his Queen or King Consort. His manservant Merlin is overrun with chores, but finds a way to attend, though he's too embarrassed to go as himself. In disguise he sets a fire in Arthur's heart, who must discover the identity of the mysterious masked man. (I do not own the characters or the photo used for the cover)

More than 1,000 years after Arthur's death, Merlin is still waiting for his King's return. He waits in an abandoned, yet fully decorated observatory on the shore of the Lake of Avalon. An observatory that he has decorated to his heart's content, a place truly fit for a King. He couldn't wait for the day that Arthur would see it.

It's been over a thousand years since Arthur's demise and Merlin has been patiently awaiting his return. He's traveled the world and gained a talented apprentice, Ellie, who helps him prepare for Arthur's return. When a group of sorcerer hunters target Albion, Arthur rises again and he, Merlin, & Ellie must prepare for the fight of their lives.
