Merula and Penny are my favorite characters so we'll see who MC gets shipped with. canonically, the characters are eleven but it makes more sense for the narrative for them to be fourteen/fifteen during the first year in the case of this specific fanfic. this a story based on the mobile game "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery" - this book covers the first year. i wrote it years ago in my drafts but here it is.

There's no typical "high school" story without a little teen romance and drama, and Hogwarts is no exception. When Professor Dumbledore announced an upcoming dance for everyone in my year, everyone wanted to put their best foot forward in making sure the dance goes off without a hitch. But of course, that would mean a lot more pressure for me, as I went about helping my friends while thinking--what would I wear? Who would I go with? This book pays little attention to Jacob's sibling. Each chapter includes the side characters from the HPHM universe along with a few of my OCs. Not exclusively a romance story, some of it is just...imagines. Basically a chill book, none of that Cursed Vaults business is mentioned here. My requests are open! That's a some kind of a small hp au. A short sad story about Merula Snyde from the game Hogwarts Mystery (to be more exact, her chubby version). It shows what people's cruelty can lead to and that people show learn to not judge people for their appearance and see more than just it.
