The messenger of the gods never lies...about his work.
Hermes, the fastest of the Olympian gods, has delivered thousands of messages. He has never asked why. He has never questioned orders. And he has never withheld a message.
Until now.
When he receives an order from Zeus to deliver a sealed message to a mortal king, curiosity wins. What he discovers inside presents him with an impossible choice: carry out the order and watch the disaster unfold, or defy the will of the king of the gods for the first time in his life.
One unsent message is enough to change the fate of both men and gods. Olympus is gripped by distrust, old alliances are shattered, and someone is determined to use Hermes's single lie to overthrow the very order of the world.
Because sometimes it's not the most courageous thing to deliver a message.
Sometimes it's the decision to never deliver it.
