Jason finally comes back to Gotham hell-bent on doing by Crime Alley right... make a permanent change that Bruce AND Batman just aren't doing. Establishing himself as The Red Hood, taking out the worst of the scum regardless of the bat's judgment, setting up programs and safe houses for alley kids and working men and women, as well as opening a restaurant center of the Alley with a free food program for those who couldn't afford to eat. He was making a difference. Of course that meant he needed more promised income. Getting his name out there as an event caterer wasn't hard. Make a few edible statues for big-wig galas, cater a few rich folk house parties, and soon enough everyone new to come to him for something or other. It was only a matter of time until the Wayne's decided to check him out. Jason had been expecting it eventually... what he wasn't expecting however was a job offer. Even more confusing... why the hell did Jason agree?! Jason has two meta-human abilities (one from each parent) The Prometheus ability that he literally abuses all the time... and his second that he doesn't even realize he has. He's basically a Julieta Madrigal. He can transfer emotions and things through the food he cooks, he can use it to harm or heal as well. This of course is where the Synthesia is from. His brain is just hardwired to relate his senses, memories, and emotions back to specific tastes and colors, which he can then use in his dishes.

Vanessa Wayne is the daughter of billionaire and vigilante Bruce Wayne. Now, at the age of twenty-three, she leaves her father, her adopted brother Richard 'Dick' Grayson, Alfred, the Wayne Manor and Gotham all together due to all of the bad memories she couldn't take any longer. She gets a job at Central City's STAR Labs right away and moves to Central City. She moves in with her best friend and her father, Iris and Joe West. She meets Barry Allen, a forensic scientist working at the Central City Police Department (CCPD) that she has a lot in common with. She straight away sees the feelings she has for him but to only realise the feelings he has for Iris.

The secrets of the Rift are unraveled in this world jumping story. Along with the origin of metahumans.

Metahuman Jennifer Pierce found herself in love with Khalil Payne, except it seemed that fate did not want them together. Khalil was paralyzed by a bullet, which caused an evil man named Tobias Whale to form a deal with the striving track star. A robotic spinal implant was placed in his back so that he could walk again. Khalil soon became a runner for Tobias' mob, but was not repaid with gratitude. Tobias ripped out Khalil's robotic spine and he died a painful death-or so we thought. In reality, Payne was taken by a government agency called the ASA to become a weapon. They saved him, trained him, and implanted a brain chip that controlled his mind to the point that he killed his own mother with zero remorse. Khalil's alter ego, Painkiller, was a ruthless and twisted part of himself that was hidden but desperately needed for Khalil to survive. Painkiller was tasked to kill the Pierce family, however, Jennifer had powers of her own to keep everyone safe as her father was a direct relative of the first metahuman, causing her and her family's electric powers to be stable. Now, Khalil was brought back by TC, another metahuman whose abilities let him talk with machines. However, Khalil has several mental battles with Painkiller, which cause Jennifer to say she can no longer love him for who he is because he's become a weapon. He leaves in search of his true self, but what really will happen between Jennifer and Khalil with Freeland falling apart as a result of Tobias' return and destruction? This fanfiction is based on season 3 of Black Lightning, so I suggest you watch that before reading the spoilers in this story. Content is based on the Black Lightning Comic Book & TV show. Martian, Zatanna, Super Boy, and AquaLad. Serena soon started to began to become reckless. She pulled this stunt a lot of times trying to keep everyone alive even herself. But she was taught by Black Canary to always put everyone else before herself. After years of being a hero she finally becomes a leaguer her dream came true. Though she always believed that fairy tales only existed in the stories. She was wrong, she got her wish.
