This is the story of a Captain named Ryouji Takahara, a fan and former member of a hardcore heavy metal band-or what people call a "Metalhead"-and a Japanese-American naval officer who becomes the captain of a Japanese hybrid battleship project. However, suddenly, nature does not allow the ship to sail on peaceful seas. Just like the loud and uncompromising music of metal, the ship experiences an event that changes everything. Like a never-ending dream, the ship must sail alongside its Captain in the eternal dream of the ship he has commanded all this time. He sails not only against enemies in new oceans-but also against past sins, a corrupt system, and the shadow of the old Yamato that still haunts them.

This story follows Victoria Larsen, a sweet teenager who just moved to the US from Norway. She was a metalhead, and loved public speaking and guitar playing. She often wore a lot of typical "metalhead" or alternative clothing, like band t-shirts, battle vests, necklaces with DIY pendants, loose jeans or flares, combat boots, studded belts, studded bracelets, spikes, the works. She was an ambivert and didn't mind socialising at all. The story starts with her first day at an American High School as a junior.
