Matt , with his father off at work so often, unable to help his son deal with grief, Matt winds up not being as social or productive at school. He never admits this too be why, and may not even realise it, but he can't stop worrying about his mother. He tries his best to calm his worries with his phone, which used to be his mother's. Anytime he loses this, however, he freaks out. So far he hasn't lost. Matt's father, Michael, is too distracted by his work to deal with this grief. Things have already become a bit mad over at this landfill. They're testing out a new chemical, Catbeth, and its freaking so many people out. As part of the press team, Mike does his best to explain the effects of it effectively so that it may calm everyone drown. A few accidents, though, will frighten everyone. Oh yeah, and that chemical gives Matt super powers or something.
