Every storm leaves something behind. Twenty-three-year-old Skylar Hayes has spent her life running toward the storms everyone else flees. After a deadly tornado claims her veteran storm-chaser father, she vows to prove his final forecast was right-and that his death wasn't the result of reckless chasing. Joining an elite storm-chasing research team known as Tempest One, Skylar crosses Tornado Alley in pursuit of the most violent supercells ever recorded. Alongside brilliant meteorologists, fearless photographers, and emergency responders, she quickly learns that Mother Nature doesn't care about reputations... or second chances. But when an unprecedented weather pattern begins spawning tornadoes with impossible strength, Skylar uncovers evidence that someone is ignoring safety warnings in pursuit of fame and viral footage. Now the race isn't just against the storm. It's against time. With entire towns in the path of destruction, Skylar must decide whether to capture the storm of a lifetime... or sacrifice everything to save the people beneath it. Sometimes the greatest battle isn't surviving the tornado. It's surviving the choices made before it touches the ground.

When a historic winter storm devastates the Northeast, Severe Weather Forecaster Samantha Turner stands behind the apology no one wants to hear. The forecast failed. The storm exceeded every expectation. And the atmosphere refuses to behave the way it should. As the public begins to recover, Samantha notices something the models can't explain. The cold hasn't relaxed. The pressure hasn't stabilized. And a second storm-one that should not exist-is beginning to organize inside the wreckage of the first. What follows is not a race against time, but a confrontation with uncertainty: how do you warn people when the rules you rely on no longer apply?

!*DISCLAIMER*! This cover is not my own work, I will change it soon. For now I am focused on my book. Sage is a very quiet person. She enjoys spending time alone, reading and looking at the sky. She especially loves the smell of wet pavement after a summer rain. Read and see how our introverted main - characters interest in weather attract people to her.

In the spring of 2021, an already volatile spring storm season produces a giant severe weather outbreak that ravages west Texas and Oklahoma. As the storms approach the highly populated Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area, the conditions are coming together for the ultimate, giant tornado outbreak. Justin and his wife Hannah once chased storms with and against the greatest, defying death and collecting priceless scientific data to better understand the elusive creature, the tornado. But that was twelve years ago. Now they're older, and he's a coffee shop owner and she's a housewife who does accounting as a side business. But when they see that an already devastating tornado outbreak is becoming more powerful and heading for highly populated areas, they cannot ignore the call back to duty. They attempt to recruit the best: an IMAX filmmaker who has retired to California with his family, an aging leading scientist whom the former has a grudge against, an extreme meteorologist and an engineer, both of whom suffered devastating losses of fellow chasers. Together, they will have to work to put aside their differences, repair broken friendships and rivalries, confront nature at its worst and even stand up to corrupt government officials who care more about reelection and their bank account than the well-being of millions of citizens. The chase is on as our chasers go into the belly of the beast, right into the heart of the fiercest, strongest, fastest and most terrifying storms that humans have ever seen.
