The night of December 13th is upon us. What's so special about this night? The Geminids meteor shower peaks on the morning of the 14th. The Geminids are considered the best meteor shower of the year. However, usually in the Northern Hemisphere it is cloudy, especially here in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, due to the Great lakes bringing moist warm air, combining with the cold winter air, and creating clouds that cause cloudy skies across the entire area. However, if you're in the Northeast like I am, this year will be an exception for the first time in 7 years. Here is how to see the Geminids under the clear skies the Northeast United States will expect this week. This isn't just worth seeing the night of the 13th into the 14th, but the night before, which is/was tonight at the time this book was created, and there was a fairly good display last night. It will also still be pretty good on the night of the 15th and the 16th. But here is how to see them.
