Akaì Te Naeriya Ilunuo'ite was an outcast in the Metkayina Clan. Her father was the Olo'eyktan of the Tipani Clan, while her mother was the Tsahìk of the Kekunan Clan. When the sky people returned to Pandora, her clan was torn apart, forced to leave and seek refuge in other clans. She learned the way of the water, preparing for the day she would lead her people against the sky people. When the Sully family arrived, Akaì is no longer the only outcast, and her plans change as feelings arise.
