2 years after Metroid Dread, Samus gets stranded on a foreign planet again. But this time, she's accompanied by program private Armstrong Houston.

A year after the great war with Bowser, peace has returned-but it's short-lived. When Dr. Robotnik resurfaces with a deadly new plan, Princess Peach and her allies must race to secure the powerful Chaos Emeralds before he harnesses their power and undoes everything they fought to rebuild. With friendships tested and old enemies rising, the fate of their worlds hangs in the balance.

We all know the tales of Samus Aran, but what happened after the baby metroid gave its life for her? My alternative to Other M. (Sequel Coming Soon!)

Princess Peach made a mistake, and now the peace that once graced the Mushroom Kingdom is on the verge of collapse. Mario, no longer the heroic figure he once was, has aligned with Bowser in a bid for power that could reshape entire worlds. The once-vibrant kingdom is now under siege, with the forces of darkness threatening to destroy everything Princess Peach cares for.

Some of Nintendo's (and the Super Smash Bros communities) most iconic characters get invited to SS. Brothers High School to spend the next 4 years training to become a top fighter & learning more about their world. These teens may be great friends, but drama follows them through their daily lives. That is the cost of popularity. Zelda is just trying to have the best (and most normal) High School experience ever, but being an incredibly beautiful and smart 16 year old makes her an easy target for unwanted attention. This school has its flaws. These students were chosen by how smart they were, or how strong they are, not by how easy they get along with others. Everyone endures High School differently, but some get it harder than others. (PG-13+, minor use of strong language, alcohol and/or drug abuse, and a small bit of sexual content <- nothing crazy, but this book is based in high school)

I said I would do this, so here! More fluff (and angst) of my Metroid otp! As always, Ridley and Dark Samus belong to Nintendo, but the guards and antagonists from the last book belong to yours truly. Have fun reading!

Meanwhile, certain powers that be set out to recruit the finest minds and combatants to their cause as the rest attempt to make their way in this strange new universe. I do not own the cover used, Star Wars, Halo, Metroid, or any of the other properties that may appear in this story, they all belong to their respective companies. Certain characters that appear are my own but I do not own the Universes they belong to. Credit to Spartan-L058 for letting me use a bit of their headcanon in this and to an old friend of mine for coming up with this idea with me years ago and continuing to be my second opinion and reference on things I don't know much about. Set in the Metroid universe. Our story follows Zailania (Lani for short) a human orphan living in the outer islands of the Galactic Federation's capital city. Zailania has all she needs in the world, a run down apartment to call home, two best friends who join her in mischievous adventures through the city streets , and a loving guardian who is also a thief with a reputation among his peers. Yet the past dwells on her, a past that mirrors that of the Galaxy's most legendary Bounty Hunter. After a fateful museum trip awakens the slumbering spirit of a Chozo, everything Zailania knew about herself is forever changed and she is forced from her home on the outskirts onto an adventure across the planet that sets the course of her new life. As she learns about her heritage and trains under the strict eye of Commander Adam Malkovich, Zailania discovers she has a greater connection to Samus Aran than she could ever imagine.
