What if the information of how to leave the barrier came a little.... earlier in the game? This story tells the tale of Mettaton and you, the reader (not frisk!!), going through various journeys together on the surface. Will he choose fame and fortune? A human with a ton of Angst climbed up MT. Ebott and being an idiot tripped and fell down a deep hole leading to a kingdom of loud angsty triggered monsters.

Prodigy. Thats what you were known as, due to your acceptional art skills. Many competitions you won. It seemed like you had the perfect life. Medals, talent, a loving family. Well they were wrong. One day, you had enough, so you ran away to Mount Ebott and jumped- only to fall into the world of monsters.

CAT!Undertale x Reader Whilst running through town away from a few bullies after school, (Y/n) trips over a closed box. It seems empty, but when she hears several 'mews' coming from inside the cardboard, she quickly grabs it and runs home. She never knew such an action could possibly change her life. Monsters are on the surface. After you save Mettaton he desides to adopt you and your friend (f/n). you were abused in the past and unsure if you can trust the robot. Your scared that monsters will see your 3 real soul trates white=kindness, love, and empathy black=hate, L.O.V.E, and cruelty purple=curiosty you try to be good thats all you want is to be a good person. Sadly its harder than it seems. (cover art and Undertale does not belong to me)

Your life has changed dramatically. After falling down into the unknown, you meet a mysterious man who claims to be the king of a strange Undergound land. Your one goal is to escape and return to your home on the surface world, but things aren't so easy. The king is a man so full of himself; someone you surly couldn't like. But as you venture with him, you realize how good his heart is. How you learn to share your love with him as he helps you escape. For he is the king. He is King Mettaton. (Undertale belongs to Toby Fox. All art belongs to their rightful artists and not myself)

When Alphys hires you to work at her lab, Mettaton hears gossip about your different sense of style and goes to see for himself.

Umm... Hi! Im MadamOtaku and this is my first fanfic! Im really nervous about how this will turn out but I'm really excited! Sorry about any grammar and spelling errors. I will try to update as soon as I can! For this story, Mettaton will be male. I know there is a bit of a debate on what gender Mettaboo is, but for this story Mettaton will be a guy. Also, the main character (you) will be female. I will change that later once this story gets more popular. Sorry in advance if you are another gender! After all of the timelines, Neutral, Pacifist, Genocide, Post-Genocide-Pacifist, Frisk finally got her happy ending. Or so she thinks... I suggest not reading this unless you have completed all runs. Here's a brief over view: (Neutral- random attacking, Pacifist- normal happy ending, Genocide- Chara takes over frisk/kills everything/frisk sells soul to regain world, Post genocide pacifist- frisk does it once more to get back her happy ending.)
