Diego de la Fuente has everything. The looks. The talent. The name everyone knows. At just sixteen, he's tall, magnetic, and already carrying the weight of a life lived in the public eye. Son of billionaire tech CEO Veronica de la Fuente, Diego attends one of Beverly Hills' most elite private schools, drives a Range Rover to class, and dominates on the basketball court. From the outside, he's untouchable - the golden boy every girl wants and every guy wants to be. But perfection comes at a price. Behind the smirk and the swagger is a boy quietly unraveling. The pressure to succeed. The fallout of his parents' very public divorce. The expectations of social media, school, sport - and being a role model to his little brother, Mateo. And the one thing no one sees coming: he's failing math. When Chanel Gonzalez, a stunning, sharp-witted new girl from San Diego, takes the seat beside him in class, Diego's carefully controlled world shifts. She sees past the fame. Past the rumors. Past the act. And for the first time, Diego feels understood. Golden Boy is a coming-of-age story about privilege and pressure, first love and heartbreak, loyalty and identity - and the courage it takes to fall apart before you grow up. Because sometimes, the boy who shines the brightest is the one breaking the most.

So, you want to know how I became awesome? (Spoilers: It involved less radiation and a whole lot more responsibility and sarcasm.) I was born in Fremont, sure, but I was built in Hayward, California-the self-declared Heart of the Bay. My family crossed a few pesky borders so the next generation (that's me!) could cross some finish lines. I learned all my life skills from Little League dreams, cheap Saturday morning cartoons, and the kind of karate confidence only a kid who mainlined 3 Ninjas and Bruce Lee could possess. Yes, I'm talking about me. Oh, and I met my wife in Spanish class at Mt. Eden High. We were just two teenagers trying to avoid failing un poquito, not realizing we were laying the concrete foundation for a whole lifetime. Seriously, that kind of love is the only thing that kept me from flying off the rails-and trust me, there were plenty of tempting crossroads. Did I take the perfect path? Nope. No perfect college roadmap here. Just a ton of sheer stupidity I managed to avoid, and a work ethic so intense my ancestors probably slow-clapped from the afterlife. I somehow ended up building a career in healthcare technology leadership. Now I guide teams, make hard calls, and generally try to take care of people the way my community took care of me. Look, I'm Javier. I'm a husband, a father of five, and a second-generation Mexican American determined to raise the bar. This isn't just some dusty old memoir. This is my story of love, loyalty, culture, confidence, and the inevitable regret and redemption that comes when you stop running from yourself. It's about choosing the right path (the hard one, naturally), becoming the man I needed growing up, and proving that where you start is never the limit. It's just... the opening scene. Now let's get started.

Eight years after their tragic fallout, PR strategist Andrea Aguilar never thought she'd cross paths again with her former college friend and business partner, Calista Díaz... let alone discover that their first year back in each other's lives would be their last. Raised in a traditional Mexican household, Andrea has spent her entire life adhering to the social norms expected of an eldest daughter: caring for her parents, making an honest living, supporting the family, marrying well, being a devoted wife and mother, helping raise her four siblings. Anything outside the norm is uncharted territory. At thirty-eight, in the midst of a broken marriage she refuses to end, Andrea crosses paths with her former college friend and business partner, Calista Díaz. After a devastating fallout puts the two women at odds, the universe throws them back into each other's orbits, with Andrea working alongside Calista again, except this time as her employee, not her business partner. With tensions running high, feelings left unresolved, and exposés written and published about each other, a second fallout leads to one final night between the two women, ending with one of them dead.

I just wanna say thanks for bothering and clicking on this "novel". This is a short story about how my life changed from one day to another when I moved to the US. Is not a novel, is not a fake story, and it might be boring. I just wanted to leave it here and if someone is struggling with a problem I hope it helps, and to whoever reads this, just know that life is a bitch but every problem has a solution, keep it up and enjoy. Thanks for reading.
